Noteput – Interactive music table

I could do without the female robot voice in the video, but otherwise an awesome interactive table.

A New Year, A Rededication to Goals

It seems like every time the New Year is upon us we begin to fill with a renewed hope and interest in self-improvement and attaining goals. I think this is a good thing. It’s like an unspoken reset button, a way for you to take inventory of the year that has just passed, what you did and didn’t accomplish, and make strategies for the New Year. That said, many of us lack the one thing that brings these goals into reality—follow through. We may have the best intentions, but without the dedication to make those things happen they really just are wishes.

Over the past few years I’ve found myself writing less and less on my blog, especially with all the different life streams that have emerged in the last few. My blog had turned into a place to just post cool things I’ve come across on the web and figured others would enjoy if I shared. I’m going to continue to do that, but with the addition of what I mentioned before—dedication. A dedication to start sharing more of the knowledge I have stuck in this cranium, along with my personal observations and experiences on life in the design game. I invite you to join me on this journey, and I apologize in advance for my writing, it’s a little rusty—something else that I’m planning on rekindling.

In the meantime, if you’re interested in getting a head start on where my head is, and what has contributed to my renewed dedication for the New Year, make sure to pick up Designers Don’t Read by Austin Howe.
